I'm new here, where do I begin?

Welcome! I am SO excited for you to get going. 


I recommend you check out our 7-day intro series, there are 3 levels to choose from (beginners, intermediate and advanced). This 7-day series includes a range of workouts that will give you a good taste into what we offer and our style of training. Please note, you do not have to do every single one of these classes, it is only a guide. Please take it at your own time and ease yourself in! 


If you prefer to have a browse and choose your own workouts, you can also use our filters to find the right workout for you. Or maybe you would like to check out our member's favourite classes, here!

How do live classes work?

Every week Bridget hosts x2 live classes via Zoom. These classes are free for all members to join or you have the option to PAYG for non-members. The classes are open-level and options will be offered for different levels and/or any injuries.


You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have on technique or certain exercises and the chance for you to connect with fellow Kala Pilates members. Plus they are a lot of fun! 


  • Ab & Core focused every Tuesday 6:30-7am (GMT)/3:30-4pm (AEST)


  • Dynamic Mat Pilates every Wednesday 6:30-7:15am (GMT)/3:30-4:15pm (AEST)

If you are unable to join live, these classes will be recorded and uploaded to our workout catalogue the following week.

How much does it cost?

The monthly membership is billed in AUD at $45 (equivalent to £25). Your subscription will automatically renew every month after your 14-day free trial ends and you can cancel at any time.


The yearly membership is billed in AUD at $360 (equivalent to £193) Your subscription will renew every year after your 14-day free trial. You can cancel your membership at any time.

How do I cancel my account?

We’re sad to hear our classes are no longer hitting the sweet spot. If there’s anything we can do to help, please let us know.


You can manage your subscription through your account settings. Simply click the menu icon in the top right corner, then click dashboard –> billing –> active plan –> change plan –> scroll down and click cancel.

How do I reset/change my password?

Reset Password:

On the Sign In page, click Forgot Password?, enter the email associated with your account, and click Send Instructions. The instruction email will arrive in your inbox shortly. In the instruction email, click Reset Password and you will be directed to select a
new password before being redirected to the catalogue page.


Change Password

Once signed into your account, you can change your password by clicking Profile at the top right. Select Dashboard. Under Private Info, click on Change Password. Enter your current password, then your new password. Click Save Changes.

How do I update my billing information?

If you need to update your billing information or contact method, you can do so through your account’s Dashboard, making sure you select the correct option.

How do I change my subscription?

If you wish to change your subscription, you can do this through your account settings. Click 'profile' in the top right corner, then click dashboard, billing, scroll down to active plan, change plan. You will see your active plan, click cancel and then choose the plan you wish to activate. You can also click here to get there.

I didn't receive the welcome email with my login details.

Can I get a refund if I cancel in the middle of the month?

All subscriptions are paid in advance of the upcoming month. If you decide to cancel your subscription before the end of your month, you will lose access and not be eligible for a refund. We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

How do I improve the quality of the video I'm watching?

If you're viewing videos that have playback or quality issues, you might need to reset the video quality for a smoother experience.

To set the video quality:


Select a workout, then click on the gear icon in the bottom right corner. Click on 'Quality' and set the quality to Auto or select a specific quality. The selected quality will apply to all videos viewed until the browser cache is cleared.

Can I watch the workouts on my TV screen?

Great idea. It’s like we’re right there in your living room. You can connect your app to your smart TV using AirPlay or if you’re using a browser, you can cast to your TV with Chromecast.


To use AirPlay: Open the video on your apple device and click the AirPlay icon in the bottom left corner.


To use Chromecast: Locate the Chromecast icon in the bottom right corner of the video you want to cast.  Click the icon and select the correct Chromecast from the pop-up in your browser.


You connect without using an app by connecting your laptop directly to your TV with an HDMI cable, you will be able to watch videos from our site on your TV.

Can I play music during the workouts?

Some of our workouts have background music, but others come with a suggested playlist. Check them out on Spotify here. They’re not only great for your workouts, but make great background music for spreadsheets, deadlines, and driving your kids to playdates.

What equipment do I need?

All equipment is optional in classes. It is recommended as it can help to improve alignment and also add resistance to your training.


You can use the ‘equipment’ filter to select your class by equipment. We use chairs, balls, blocks, dumbbells, bands, sliders and ankle weights. 



I've never tried Pilates before! Is it suitable for complete beginners?

Yes! We’re so glad you’re here. We have an extensive range of workouts that are suitable for complete beginners. You can use the ‘Level’ filter to access beginner workouts, then slowly progress through the levels as you grow. Otherwise, you can stay at the beginner level, that’s perfectly fine too! You can also filter by ‘Duration’ and choose shorter 10 or 20-minute classes to get you started.

I am not flexible, will I still be able to join?

Absolutely. Whether you’ve been able to do the splits since you were five or can barely touch your toes, our workouts are for every body – and varying levels of fitness and ability. You’ll notice your flexibility will naturally start to increase after a few classes. That’s the magic of Kala Pilates.

How do live classes work?

Every Wednesday Bridget hosts a live Zoom class for all members, this class is free to join. The class is an open-level mat Pilates class and a guaranteed glute and ab burn!


You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have on technique or certain exercises and the chance for you to connect with fellow Kala Pilates members.

Are classes suitable for Pregnancy and postnatal women? 

Yes! We have a number of videos that are suitable for both pre and postnatal clients. Find these through the ‘Category’ filter on the online portal.



Bridget is currently working on a new pre 7 postnatal workout program, so keep your eyes peeled - this is coming shortly!


Keep an eye out for modifications and be kind to your body – remember to stop or take pauses when you need to. Always consult your doctor or physician before getting started.

What Pilates mat can you recommend?

My all-time favourite Pilates mat is an Australia-owned local company. FoldUP. These mats fold up into a small square so are very convenient for storage and travel. They are extremely supportive and have the perfect amount of grip. I can't recommend them enough.
